We welcome you to Greater Des Moines before, during and after the Caucuses!We can assist with finding various local products, services, and amenities, as well as identifying appropriate locations for on-site reporting or filing stories. This site offers:

  • Maps – where to park, how to navigate the downtown skywalk system, how to avoid area construction projects, and a current community-wide street map
  • Lists – free wi-fi hotspots (map coming soon!), the latest events, the best local restaurants, the best local bars, office supply and repair stores, etc.
  • Venues – virtual and actual locations to find historical data, short-term office space, the perfect background for a camera shot, or the nearest trail loop for your morning run
  • Contacts & Sources – to help you find the source you’re seeking in a town you don’t know well (yet!)
