Presidential candidates from both the Republican and Democratic parties have confirmed they will participate in a forum at Iowa State University’s Biobased Industry Outlook Conference. The conference will take place on Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. John Edwards, a Democrat from North Carolina, John McCain, a Republican from Arizona, and Chris Dodd, a Democrat from Connecticut, will address bioeconomy issues and answer questions pertaining to agriculture, education and the bioeconomy.
