A stellar panel of top representatives from Republican and Democratic presidential campaigns will analyze the Iowa caucuses next Thursday, December 20th in a special two-hour forum as part of the latest Drake University-IowaPolitics.com “Cookies and Conversation” event.
The program, which will feature back-to-back forums featuring all Republican chairs/managers for one hour, followed by all Democratic chairs/managers for one hour, will be held in Levitt Hall in Old Main on the Drake campus at 2507 University. The event, which begins at 11:30 a.m. is free and open to the public, but reservations are required due to space limitations.
For reservations call 515:271-3747 or e-mail iowacaucuses@drake.edu. Doors at Levitt Hall open at 11 a.m. Free parking will be available in Drake lots at 26th and University Ave. and 25th and Carpenter Ave.
CSPAN will be recording the event for re-broadcast at a later date and time.
Bureau Chief Chris Dorsey will moderate the event and questions will be accepted from audience members.
This is the seventh in a series of “Cookies and Conversation” forums co-sponsored by IowaPolitics.com and Drake University. IowaPolitics.com is a non-partisan news operation offering a free Web site at www.IowaPolitics.com and paid subscriber products. The programs are designed to foster interest in Iowa’s political process and give audience members an open forum to ask questions to candidates and others involved in Iowa politics and government.
